Shelly Yakus is a renowned music producer, audio engineer/mixer and foremost with analog and digital recording. He is widely considered one of the best engineers and   mixers and studio designers in the music industry and an expert in audio. He has engineered and mixed recordings for some of the world’s best known artists including John Lennon, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Dire Straits, Blue Oyster Cult (mixed the actual "more cowbell" moment), Bob Seger, Amy Grant, Don Henley, U2 and Madonna. He is widely respected for his expertise in recording studio design, acoustics and audio processing. Yakus co-designed, equipped and operated the industry leading A&M Records music recording studios in Los Angeles. He was previously Vice President of the Record Plant recording studios in New York and Vice President of A&M studios. The music that Shelly has engineered, produced, or mixed has grossed over a billion dollars in world wide sales. In addition he was nominated for the induction into the Rock and Roll hall of fame by Bono from U2 in 1999. Shelly's career and accomplishments are widely covered in publications such as Rolling Stone, Mix Magazine, Audio Engineer and Spin. He is Chief Engineer of After Master HD and Pro Master. His technology is on the soon to be released Bella signa After Master Chip. He recently received a honorary doctorate of Music from Lebanon Valley College in PA which has been an revered institution for 148 years.
